Writing Competition: "Into the Unknown"
Welcome to the "Into the Unknown" writing competition! This theme invites writers to embark on a journey of exploration and discovery, venturing into realms uncharted and mysteries unsolved. Whether it's exploring distant galaxies, delving into the depths of the human psyche, or uncovering secrets of the past, "Into the Unknown" encourages writers to push the boundaries of imagination and storytelling.
Winners will be published on tellitintype's website.
Prizes: $100 for first place, $50 for second place, and $25 for third place.
Honorable mentions may be granted at the submissions review team's discretion.
Fee: There is a submission fee of $4.77 for each entry. This commensurate fee covers administrative costs associated with processing submissions and is non-refundable.
Prize money will be issued via VENMO to the same VENMO account the was used when you submited your entry.
Guidelines
Submissions must be original and created by human authors. AI-generated content is not eligible for the competition.
All submissions must be written in English.
Entries must be formatted as Microsoft Word documents or plain text (.doc, .docx .rtf .txt).
Participants may submit multiple entries, but each entry must be submitted separately.
Entries will be judged based on creativity, originality, writing style, adherence to the theme, and overall impact.
The decision of the judges is final and binding.
